Placements.io has been informed that certain agencies/individuals have been making job offers on behalf of Placements.io in exchange for money. Job seekers have received dubious messages (emails, WhatsApp, etc.) asking for information or payments as part of the job application process. This is not legitimate.

To protect yourself, please note:

• Placements.io will never contact candidates via WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, or any informal messaging apps for interviews, job offers, or payments.
• All legitimate job openings are listed exclusively on our official careers page: https://placements.io/careers, which links to our Greenhouse page.
• We never request money, fees, gift cards, or personal financial information during any part of the hiring process.
• If you see job postings on any other websites, please check the domain carefully. If it is not placements.io, it is not from us.
• All genuine communication from our team will come from an @placements.io email address.
• If you receive a suspicious message or job solicitation, you can verify its legitimacy by contacting: hr@placements.io
